• Compatibility quiz answers
• Messages, voice notes, and images sent through the platform
• Payment information (processed by our third-party payment processors - we do not store your card details)
• Push notification subscription details, if you enable push notifications

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the matching service
• To show your profile to potential matches
• To process payments and manage subscriptions
• To send email and push notifications (if enabled)
• To prevent fraud and ensure safety, including reviewing reports and enforcing our Terms

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share limited information only as needed to operate the service:

• Other users: Your profile (name, age, location, bio, photo) is shown to potential matches
• Payment processors: To process subscription payments securely
• Cloud database and hosting providers: To store and secure your data
• Email delivery providers: To send account and notification emails
• Law enforcement or legal process: When required to comply with the law, or to protect the safety of our users

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely with reputable cloud database providers, with encryption in transit. We use database-level access controls so you can only access your own data and data shared with you through matches. Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted to us.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your profile, messages, and quiz answers are permanently removed within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain records (e.g. payment records) for legal or accounting purposes.

6. Your Rights

• Access: View all your data in your profile and settings
• Correction: Edit your profile at any time
• Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Delete account
• Portability: Request an export of your data by emailing us
• Objection / Withdraw consent: Disable email or push notifications at any time from Settings, or object to specific processing by contacting us

If you are in the EU/UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. If you are in California, you have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information we collect and to request its deletion - we do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA.

7. Children's Privacy

Onimici is intended for users 18 years of age and older only. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a user under 18, we will delete that account and associated data promptly. If you believe a user is under 18, please report their profile or contact us.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your login session. These are required for the app to function and cannot be disabled. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies on the app itself.

9. International Users

Our servers and service providers may be located in different countries than you. By using Onimici, you consent to your information being processed in those countries, which may have different data protection laws than your own.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the app before the changes take effect. Continued use of Onimici after a change means you accept the updated policy.
